​Hi, I’m Cyndia...a cycling instructor, engineer, cancer survivor, and the founder of Spindia. For the past ten years, I’ve led high-energy spin classes where the music is loud and every rider leaves stronger and more unstoppable. My mission: create a safe, fun space where women push limits and crush goals. But I kept hearing one frustration: leggings that failed mid-ride. Women deserve gear that works as hard as they do - no compromises. That’s why I created Spindia.​

 

Born in Puerto Rico, I grew up climbing mango trees and milking cows with my grandfather before swim practice. At age nine, I joined Puerto Rico’s National Swimming Team, earning a full scholarship and becoming the first in my family to graduate with a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.​ 

 

Then came my hardest lap: beating cancer, six months hospitalized, three months in a coma, and relearning to walk, eat, and drink - fueled by family, faith, and the drive to teach spin again. In those comeback classes, the need was crystal clear. Using my engineering background and real rider feedback, I designed leggings that finally deliver: squat-proof, sweat-wicking fabric, deep phone-safe pockets, high-waisted no-slip security, and a flattering fit that celebrates every body.​​
